Coach Kyle McKune talks to host Keith Kiser about the Archery Program.

At 4:15 am, Thursday morning on March 18th, Archery Coach Kyle McKune arrived at Moore to unlock the doors for an unusually early practice session. He was greeted by two archers who had arrived before him. “I told the archers to be here around  4:45 am, most of them were here at about 4:30 am. They were so excited.”

They were excited because Fox 41, was coming to film a practice session for 2 and a half hours. From 5 am to 7:30 am the news program was shooting live segments as the archery team conducted a normal practice session. One archer was heard saying, “Can we start practicing like this from now on?” “Don’t think so!” Coach Kyle McKune replied.

Two students from the Archery team, senior Amy Miller, and Junior Ana Ruiz, qualified to participate in the state tournament to take place at the Kentucky Convention Center.  The team just recently competed in the post season Regional Tournament that took place at Moore.
